Children at our school spent their summer Extreme Reading! They read on planes, boats, in tents and by dinosaurs. On Friday we celebrated this in assembly and prizes were awarded.

In Science, Year 4 have been learning about the effects of certain foods on teeth using boiled eggs! They saw that the eggs left in acidic and sugary drinks discoloured badly, whereas those left in milk and water remained healthy and white.

Using teamwork, problem-solving and creativity ensured that Year 5's DT work this week was a success this week! We are making mountains, linked to our Geography learning, using the papier-mâché technique. Next stop: painting!
