Clubs
At Valley Invicta Primary School at Aylesford, we aim to provide a wide range of extra-curricular clubs that allow pupils to explore their interests, develop new skills and enjoy learning beyond the classroom.
Our clubs form an important part of our wider curriculum and personal development provision. They provide opportunities for pupils to discover new talents, build confidence and develop positive relationships with others. Activities are designed to encourage participation, creativity and teamwork while supporting pupils’ physical, social and emotional wellbeing.
We endeavour to offer a varied programme of clubs each term so that there is something for everyone. These may include activities such as mindfulness, sports, creative arts, cookery, science experiments and many other opportunities (depending on the term and pupil interests).
Through participation in clubs, pupils are able to:
- Develop new interests and talents
- Build confidence, resilience and teamwork skills
- Improve physical health and wellbeing through active opportunities
- Express creativity and explore different hobbies
- Work collaboratively with pupils from different year groups
- Enjoy meaningful experiences beyond the taught curriculum
Providing a wide range of enrichment opportunities helps pupils broaden their horizons and supports their wider personal development, allowing them to develop skills and interests that will benefit them both in school and beyond.
