School Governors’ Awareness Day

Today is School Governors’ Awareness Day and the perfect opportunity to say thank you to the 100+ governors and trustees we have across the Trust and its nine schools.

Our governors and trustees are an integral part of the team at VIAT and help drive the strategic development of the Trust and their schools, and ensure the quality of education provision. They provide oversight and accountability, and they support and challenge as critical friends as part of the school improvement journey.

We are incredibly grateful to the highly-skilled group of people who commit their time and expertise, voluntarily, to our Trust Board and each of our schools.

If you would like to consider becoming a governor, we’d love to hear from you. You can find more information here: https://www.viat.org.uk/651/join-us-as-a-governor
