Resilience and Emotional Wellbeing Award

Valley Invicta Primary School at Aylesford has achieved the Kent School Award for Resilience and Emotional Wellbeing.

When applying for the award, a school has to be able to prove it has adopted a whole school approach to resilience and emotional wellbeing and an exemplary commitment to its action plan.

The letter confirming the award read: ‘I would like to congratulate you on your work to ensure all areas of the school community are nurtured, supported and are able to access appropriate support if required. We appreciate this achievement is due to strong leadership and a sustained effort by staff and students to remain focused on improving resilience and emotional wellbeing for the whole school community.’

Headteacher, Loni Stevens, said: “We are thrilled to have achieved this hugely important award. The wellbeing of our pupils, their families and staff is an absolute priority so this recognition cements the hard work put in by everyone to ensure we are committed to our plans moving forward. Well done to everyone who has been involved!”
