Beech Class have been exploring space and the earth this term. In science they used a torch and a globe to help them understand how night and day occur as the earth rotates on its axis.

Congratulations ot Livvy in Yr 6 who is part of the Youth Council at Aylesford Football Club where she plays. She organised a specialist bag of resources to support the girls teams at training and match days. We are very proud of her

National year of reading 2026 has got of to a brilliant start here at VIPS Aylesford. Thomas in Yr 6 has completed his 'read your height' challenge and we are so very proud of him. We always knew he was an avid reader but this is an incredible achievement. Well done Thomas!

Year 2 loved their learning launch for Science and English. They went outside and completed their own Spogomi challenge which is a new sport of competitive litter picking.

We are looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic teacher to join our Trust and work as a Key Stage 2 Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages across our five primary schools.  This is a temporary contract to cover maternity leave.  

Do you hold QTS in the appropriate age range and experience teaching KS1/KS2 (or relevant qualifications/experience at secondary level) and possess a capacity to teach a foreign language (equally, a discovery programme of many languages would also be an exciting proposition)? 

If so, then we would encourage you to apply for this exciting initiative to raise standards in teaching of modern foreign languages at Key Stage 2 level within our Trust.
