Valley Invicta Primary School at Aylesford are looking for committed, enthusiastic and caring person to lead the high-quality SEN provision within our school.

The post is currently proposed as 4 days per week but full-time working would be considered. 

We believe that all children should be given the opportunity to learn inclusively within the classroom and our Quality First Teaching pedagogy supports this belief. We are looking for a leader to support the team of highly skilled and committed teachers and support staff in creating a curriculum that truly allows all children to achieve their potential.

We are looking for an experienced practitioner who has excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with our families and work with teachers to ensure the impact of all interventions can be effective.

The successful candidate will;

  • have relevant teaching experience, NASC SENDCO qualification/awareness or willingness to undertake this qualification within 3 years of appointment.
  • have a proven track record of supporting students with SEND, particularly speech and language, ASD and SEMH.
  • be able to work effectively as part of a team to achieve the very best for our children.
  • be organised, flexible and enthusiastic.
    be resilient and resourceful with high expectations of self and others.
